Atty. ELVIN B. VILLANUEVA is an HR practitioner, consultant and litigation lawyer. He graduated cum laude from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. He finished law with honors from the Arellano University in 2009 and passed the bar exams held in the same year.

He is a lecturer on labor laws having conducted seminars such as Valid Dismissal, Employee Benefits and crafting HR Policies and Contracts. He is also a resource person for radio and TV programs on overseas employment laws.

He is the author of several HR books which include Guide to Valid Dismissal of Employees; Guide on Employee Compensation and Benefits Volumes One and Two; Guide on Wage Order and Minimum Wage; Human Resource Forms, Notices and Contracts; and Employee Leave Benefits.

M. CHRISTINE FLORIDO is a member of the Philippine bar and graduate of Ateneo de Manila University where she obtained her degrees in B.S. Legal Management and Juris Doctor and graduated with honors. She has worked in government as Bank Attorney at the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and as Member of the Movies, Television, Review and Classification Board and at various corporations as in-house legal counsel. She was also a part-time lecturer on Sales, Agency and Credit Transactions at the Ateneo de Manila University in Quezon City.

She is currently a business and human resources consultant and maintains christineflorido.com, a website devoted to free legal updates and occasional legal opinion. Originally from Cebu, she now lives in Metro Manila with her two sons, Miguel and Jaime.
